Christophe Bourguignon

DVM, Dipl ACVIM Cardiology

Dr. Bourguignon is an ACVIM board-certified veterinary cardiologist. He obtained his vet degree from VetAgro Sup, National Veterinary School of Lyon in 2014 after passing his DVM thesis entitled “Anatomy and hemodynamics of the heart of Crocodilians”. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at the National Veterinary School of Alfort (Paris), France. The following year, he performed in Bordeaux, France a research fellowship in human cardiac electrophysiology and interventional procedures as well as a part-time internship in veterinary cardiology in private practice. The year after, he completed a 1-year Emergency and Critical Care specialty internship at North Caroline State University, USA, followed by a 4-year program combining a Cardiology residency and a research fellowship in clinical electrophysiology at Cornell University, NY, USA. He obtained his ACVIM (Cardiology) board certification in 2021. He currently works at Medi-Vet, Lausanne, Switzerland as head-cardiologist and at ADVETIA, Paris, France as an interventional cardiologist to perform in his favorite area of expertise such as curing congenital malformations and placing pacemakers.
