Founder and CEO of Qvetech
Dr. Mohammed Salah is the founder and CEO of Qvetech, an animal health consultancy established in 2017 to support veterinarians, producers, and industry stakeholders across the Middle East and Africa. With over 28 years of experience in the animal health sector, Dr. Salah has become a leading figure in veterinary business consultancy, market research, and human resources development.
Graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, Dr. Salah furthered his education with a diploma in marketing (1999), an MSC in parasitology (2006), and strategic management training from AMA France (2007). He also completed a TOT program at Cambridge University in 2017. His professional journey began in 1996, advancing to Scientific Office Manager for Homa in 1999 and later holding key roles such as Marketing Manager for IFT (2004), Poultry Species Manager for MSD (2006-2009), and General Manager of UBM (2009-2010), where he contributed to Egypt’s first private vaccine manufacturing facility. He then served as Middle Business Director at Zoetis from 2010 to 2017.
Since founding Qvetech, Dr. Salah has led a team of 26 professionals, consulting for top companies like Zoetis, MSD, Bayer/Elanco, and Ceva. He has developed pioneering educational programs, including the "Marketing for Veterinarians" series across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and an annual digital marketing course for veterinarians. Additionally, he has contributed to initiatives like Zoetis Life, Zoetis ME digital platform, and the Veterinary Digital Academy by MSD.
A sought-after speaker, Dr. Salah actively supports newly graduated veterinarians through student activities with IVSA and supporting Veterinarians in Africa as a member in CDC Galvmed.
