Dr. Margit Gabriele Muller is the Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital (ADFH), the largest falcon hospital in the world and a global leader in falcon medicine, where she has served since 2001. She leads a team of over 140 professionals, managing ADFH’s falcon treatments, international internship program, Pet Care Center, Animal Shelter, laboratory, and tourism initiatives.

A renowned falcon veterinary specialist with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Muller earned her veterinary doctorate (Dr. med. vet.) from LMU University of Munich, Germany, and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. She is Board Certified in veterinary dentistry (Germany), holds a Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy (UK), member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (UK) and the Association of Avian Veterinarians (USA) and International Coaching Federation, USA.

Her groundbreaking research has led to the discovery of two new diseases in falcons, cementing her reputation as a thought leader in avian medicine. She has authored four books among them “Practical Handbook of Falcon Husbandry and Medicine”, “Modern Veterinary Practice Management” and the multiple award-winning “Your Pet, Your Pill®”. In addition, She has also contributed to several book chapters and published over 50 international scientific articles. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and was honored as a Strathclyde Business Fellow in 2013.

Beyond veterinary medicine, Dr. Muller is an award-winning Mental Health Coach, Master Life Coach, Master NLP Practitioner, Professional Certified Coach, Meditation Teacher, Advanced trauma-sensitive Mindfulness Practitioner, Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master. She is a columnist for mental health in the Expert Profile Magazine. Her expertise on mental and emotional well-being, trauma, resilience, stress management, and mindfulness, empowers veterinarians to navigate the unique challenges of their profession with greater balance and inner strength. Passionate about mental health, she has developed specialized self-paced online courses (www.drmargit.com) to support veterinarians globally and shares her insights as an international motivational speaker.  

Dr. Muller’s contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the Abu Dhabi Award from H.H. President of the United Arab Emirates and the title of “Honorary Falconer” bestowed by King Juan Carlos I of Spain. She also represented the UAE at the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai as part of the “Dreamers Who Do” in 2021/2022. Her dedication to both veterinary excellence and mental health advocacy continues to inspire professionals across the globe.
