Moneeb Qablan

PhD (UVPS), Professor of Parasitology Veterinary Faculty UAE University

⦁ Dr. Qablan holds a Ph.D. in Veterinary Parasitology from University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UVPS), Brno, Czech Republic.
⦁ Prior to joining the Veterinary Department team, CFA, UAEU in January 2016, he was working as faculty member at UVPS and he was engaged in teaching of the undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as, conducting research in the area of Vector and Vector-borne Disease (2008-2015).
⦁ He gained his research experience from working on the epidemiology, host specificity, genetic diversity and molecular evolution of haemoparasites (Trypanosoma, Babesia, Theileria and Plasmodium species).
⦁ He investigated these parasites in both domestic and wildlife animals (non-human primates) from several locations in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. So far, Dr. Qablan published 14 articles in his area of interest and he is serving as reviewer in several Peer reviewed Journals.
